Rooms designed for every stage

Our spacious, air-conditioned rooms have been thoughtfully designed to support children at every stage of their development. Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking our beautiful gardens, filling the space with natural light.

The large windows inspire curiosity as our babies and children love watching the birds, squirrels, and changing seasons, creating daily opportunities for exploration and conversation.

Each room is fully equipped with carefully selected resources and engaging learning experiences, providing a welcoming environment where curious minds can play, discover, and thrive.

Ducklings

0–15 months · Staff ratio 1:3

Staff in Ducklings are dedicated to providing much love and stimulation for the babies in their care. Alongside tending to the babies' wellbeing, we use treasure baskets to enhance their development. Treasure baskets enable children to develop their cognitive development through exploring objects using their senses. Heuristic play describes the activity and play with babies and children as they play with and explore the properties of the different objects in these baskets.

Honeybees

12–24 months · Staff ratio 1:3

Honeybees care for children between the ages of 15 months and 24 months. The rooms are spacious with lots of natural light and the children have access to our lovely gardens. Whilst play is still the focus of the day, more focused learning experiences are introduced at this stage. We mainly use natural resources and materials designed to stimulate the senses, with a quiet area for rest.

Bumblebees

12–24 months · Staff ratio 1:3

Bumblebees care for children between the ages of 15 months and 24 months. The rooms are spacious with lots of natural light and the children have access to our lovely gardens. Whilst play is still the focus of the day, more focused learning experiences are introduced at this stage. We mainly use natural resources and materials designed to stimulate the senses, with a quiet area for rest.

Monkeys

24–36 months · Staff ratio 1:4 · Term time only, 9:00am–2:00pm

The staff in Monkeys are dedicated to providing a caring, stimulating, and safe environment in which the children can learn and develop. Activities are planned around individual needs following the Early Years Foundation Stage. Staff observe and assess each child's development and record their progress in Foundation Stage profiles, readily available in the parent information boxes located in each room.

Squirrels

24–36 months · Staff ratio 1:4

The staff in Squirrels are dedicated to providing a caring, stimulating, and safe environment in which the children can learn and develop. Activities are planned around individual needs following the Early Years Foundation Stage. The six areas of learning are promoted inside and outside through routines, free play and adult-led activities.

Chipmunks

24-36 months. ratio 1:4

When children begin this stage of their nursery life we are able to introduce more educational-based activities, with the emphasis still being very much about having fun. A wide range of themed activities are designed to aid their development and prepare them for their final move to the Butterflies and Dolphins rooms. The room looks onto our lovely garden.

Sunshine Room

SEND & inclusion

Our Sunshine Room provides a safe, nurturing space where every child is valued, understood, and supported to thrive. Specialist trained staff work with families and professionals through individual support plans, sensory and therapeutic resources, and inclusive practice across the nursery.

Dolphins

36–48+ months · Staff ratio 1:8

Preparing children for school is our priority for this age group. As they begin their gentle introduction to a more structured setting, children further develop their listening and communication skills. Taking turns and fully participating in the activities for the day is all part of their pre-school learning, though always with flexibility to allow for child-led activities. Children starting school after their pre-school years with LE are confident and full of self-esteem.

Butterflies

36–48+ months · Staff ratio 1:8

Tigers

Holiday club

Tigers is our holiday club, offering lots of fun opportunities during the school holidays — sports, crafts and cookery, growing projects, outdoor fun, and special activities. Children have drinks throughout the day and regular snack times, with a meal provided at tea time during holiday sessions.
