Cookie policy
How Little Einsteins Nursery uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with UK privacy and electronic communications law.
Last updated: 29 June 2026
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how we use them on our website, and how you can control them.
It should be read with our Privacy Policy and GDPR information. Little Einsteins Childcare Centre Ltd (Company Number 06754353) is the data controller for information collected through cookies where UK GDPR applies.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, or phone when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, keep them secure, and remember preferences.
Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels. In this policy, we use “cookies” to refer to cookies and comparable technologies unless stated otherwise.
3. UK law and our approach
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we must tell you about cookies and, for non-essential cookies, obtain your consent before they are placed on your device.
We keep cookie use on our website to a minimum. Our site does not currently set any first-party cookies—including strictly necessary cookies—when you browse our pages. Because we do not place non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or analytics cookies on our website.
4. What our site uses
First-party cookies
Our website does not set cookies when you view our pages, use the navigation, or load more gallery photos. Features such as the photo gallery load content from our own server without placing cookies on your device.
Local storage and similar technologies
We do not use browser local storage, session storage, or similar client-side storage on our website.
Google Fonts
Our pages load typography from Google Fonts. Your browser requests a stylesheet from fonts.googleapis.com and font files from fonts.gstatic.com. Google may receive technical data such as your IP address when these files are fetched. Google Fonts is not used for advertising on our website. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles that data.
Our own scripts
Our site uses JavaScript hosted on our own website (for example, navigation, lightboxes, and gallery loading). We do not load third-party analytics, advertising, or social tracking scripts.
External links (not embedded content)
We do not embed third-party maps, videos, social media feeds, enquiry forms, or other widgets in our pages. Where we link to an external service, you leave our website and that provider’s terms and cookies apply on their site. Examples include:
- Google Maps — when you open our address link in the footer;
- Social media — when you follow links to our profiles (for example Facebook or Instagram), if configured;
- Famly — when you use an Enquire link that opens the Famly inquiry form;
- Ofsted — when you open our report on the Ofsted website.
We do not control cookies set by these external sites. Check their privacy and cookie policies if you visit them.
What we do not use
We do not currently use Google Analytics or similar analytics cookies, advertising or remarketing cookies, social media tracking pixels, or bot-protection widgets (such as Cloudflare Turnstile) on our website. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
5. How to manage cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- see which cookies are stored and delete them individually;
- block third-party cookies;
- block all cookies from specific sites;
- block all cookies (not recommended, as some sites may not work properly);
- delete all cookies when you close your browser.
Blocking all cookies may affect how our website displays (for example, fonts may fall back to system defaults). Blocking cookies will not prevent you from viewing information on our site.
For independent guidance, visit aboutcookies.org or the ICO guidance at ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we change how our website works or if legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
